Today is our last day in Florence before we go to Spain! The anticipation is DEFINITELY kicking in! However, after sitting through all 3 of my classes today all of the stress and worries of traveling also started to kick in. We had to make sure we had our boarding passes, passports, hostel confirmation, and all of our clothes, toiletries, towel, etc. It may not sound like a lot, but once you try to start packing everything into one small bookbag that fit the regulations and weight limit of airline, it gets super stressful and takes a lot of planning.
It seemed like before we knew it it was already dinner time so Marissa started cooked some potatoes so we could have mashed potatoes with the chicken cordon bleu that I had bought on sale at Conad last week. It’s so crazy how the littlest and simplest things can make you so happy and make you feel like you’re not so far from home. Not to mention extremely delicious as well!
After dinner I decided to do the reading for Comparative Media and take some notes on it so I could have good notes to take with me and study from while I was travelling. It didn’t take long for all of us to realize that we had to get up at 4 a.m….so going to sleep soon would be a pretty good idea.
